One full year of library lending love - take home your tools (7 calendar day rental period) & create to your heart's content!  From paint sprayers to pressure washers - members have access to a huge selection of tools and accessories.  If we don't immediately have it, we'll search far and wide for the tool you need.

The goal is to make membership available for all while keeping a sustainable lending library open for our community. We do this by suggesting a $120 annual membership contribution. If this isn’t in your toolbelt, we also offer a sliding scale option based on 0.1% of your annual income (ex: if you make $40k/year consider $40). If a financial contribution doesn’t fit your wheelbarrow, talk with an LTL Librarian and consider membership via service through volunteering!

We call it the "ten and two rule" - ten hand tools and two power tools.  Librarians reserve the right to allow larger rental quantities on a project-by-project basis. Let us know what you need and we’ll do our best to accommodate!

Tools circulate for a seven calendar day lending period. 

Absolutely!  As long as there isn't someone signed up on our waiting list.  Give us a call or extend your borrow online through our circulation software.

Nope!  However, if a tool is returned late we suggest a financial donation if able. Suggested late fees are NOT meant to be a barrier to borrowing and are in existence to ensure tools come back and are available for another member who might need them. The suggested donation of $1 per day post due-date helps to keep our library circulating.
